Company Outing 2025 – Urban Golf and Car Racing
This year, BONT’s annual company outing took place already in spring. On Saturday morning, the whole team met for coffee and croissants at a bakery near Zurich’s Stadelhofen station – a relaxed start to an eventful day.
Right afterward, we set off northeast by train, heading to Winterthur. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the tourist information desk and briefed on the day’s agenda.

Equipped with golf clubs, softballs, and a route map, we set out on foot to discover Winterthur in a playful way. Already at the first station, the good vibes among our colleagues were unmistakable. A touch of competitive spirit was also in the air – this year’s event replaced the traditional BONT quiz with a fresh test of skill.
Thankfully, we were using soft golf balls – as a few unsuspecting pedestrians and cyclists found themselves in the line of (amateur) fire on this sunny day. No one was harmed, though some ended up with wet feet, and about half our ball supply likely disappeared into the great unknown.
Along the route, we enjoyed lunch from our packed meals and took things at a relaxed pace. The charming old town and perfect weather naturally called for an aperitif break – and we were happy to oblige.
Racing Fever at the Tempodrom
In the afternoon, our “mystery tour” continued by city bus. Hearts started racing as we approached the Tempodrom – it was time for Go-Karting! The track quickly turned into a thrilling arena of fast turns and bold maneuvers. For those who hadn’t quite shined at golf earlier, this was the perfect chance to make up lost ground.
The winner takes it all – and our top three racers were all smiles as they received gift vouchers for tasty treats, redeemable at the Herrliberg village bakery.
A Perfect Ending
At BONT, we don’t believe in losers – so the day concluded with a group dinner in Zurich’s lively Niederdorf district, where we toasted to a fantastic and fun-filled outing.
Looking back, it was a wonderful, varied, and thoroughly entertaining day.
We can’t help but wonder: where will the next BONT adventure take us…?
